HÖRMANN Dealticker: HÖRMANN Intralogistics Implements AutoStore® System with 42,000 Containers for Automotive Parts Distributor Schäferbarthold GmbH

Munich / Porta Westfalica, June 2026 – HÖRMANN Intralogistics is pleased to announce a major order from Schäferbarthold GmbH. The specialized wholesaler of high-quality automotive replacement parts and accessories is relying on an AutoStore system designed by the planning firm Dobülog to automate its small-parts logistics. A single-double grid for 42,000 bins will provide a forward-looking solution for the efficient storage and picking of automotive replacement parts.

The comprehensive system configuration includes 34 robots from the high-performance “R5.1” series, which, together with 26 loading stations, ensure continuous operation. Seven carousel ports and a preconfigured frame for an additional carousel port ensure high throughput rates during order fulfillment. Two conveyor ports and two transfer cells for integrating the customer’s conveyor systems provide seamless connections to existing logistics processes. A service and tunnel platform completes the system, ensuring optimal maintenance accessibility.
