HÖRMANN DealTicker: Optimized storage processes at Miettex Service Meeß GmbH in Sankt Augustin

Miettex Service Meeß GmbH, a specialist in textile management and rental linen solutions, has opted for a tailor-made AutoStore® system, which will be installed at the Sankt Augustin site.

It comprises a grid with 30,765 bins and is operated by 6 "Red Line" robots. Five carousel ports improve throughput with 100 retrievals and 67 putaways per hour. The project also includes a service platform and extinguishing generators for safety.

Michael Meeß, Managing Director of Miettex, is delighted: "We had reached the limits of our capacity at our site in Sankt Augustin. Thanks to the modern storage system, we can relieve the burden on our workforce and meet the increased demand for our services in a more relaxed manner."

The system is due to go live at the end of 2025.
