HÖRMANN Dealticker: Implements AutoStore System for Baierl Demmelhuber in Töging am Inn

Munich, September 2026 – HÖRMANN Intralogistics Solutions GmbH has been awarded the contract to implement a fully automated AutoStore system for the new logistics center of the Baierl Demmelhuber Group in Töging. The system provides a total capacity of 7,140 bins for the storage and picking of components.

The AutoStore Grid in the single-double format spans 11 levels, initially accommodating 5,500 containers, each 330 mm high. Four R5.1 series robots move fully automatically across the grid and transport the bins to three Versa-Ports, the latest generation of workstations. Compared to the previous conveyor ports, an automatic safety flap and a multi-bin function have been added. The goods-to-person system achieves a throughput of 30 putaways and 200 retrievals per hour. The entire system is controlled by the proven HiLIS Warehouse Management System from HÖRMANN Intralogistics.

The compact design optimizes space utilization in the new logistics center and enables a significant increase in storage capacity while improving ergonomics for employees. Various interior finishing components are picked as needed and efficiently made available.

HÖRMANN Intralogistics, as the general contractor, is handling the entire project—from planning through to turnkey handover. Commissioning of the AutoStore system is scheduled for the end of 2026.
