With the installation of the 1,000th AutoStore® robot at Christ Packing Systems in Ottobeuren, HÖRMANN Intralogistics is celebrating another milestone in its success story with more than 50 AutoStore® solutions implemented to date.

To commemorate this in style, we delivered and installed a special edition AutoStore™ robot last week. Our partners from Christ Packing Systems GmbH & Co. KG welcomed their new glittering friend with open arms and joy. In future, the sparkly helper will be picking and storing components for the production supply of packaging machines.

About the project:
Christ Packing Systems specializes in individual packaging machines for intelligent end-of-line packaging solutions for pharmaceutical and medical technology products. According to its own motto "Automating Your Success", production efficiency is now being optimized at the Ottobeuren site. As an automation and material flow expert, HÖRMANN Intralogistics is implementing the new AutoStore® Grid in an existing warehouse to supply production with small parts. Five tireless robots move the approximately 4,000 containers in the system, in which goods are stored at three conveyor ports or made available for order picking on an order-related basis. Completion was in December 2023.
