HÖRMANN Deal Ticker: Durst Group AG relies on AutoStore for optimized intralogistics

The Durst Group AG, a leading manufacturer of pioneering digital printing and production technologies based in Brixen, has commissioned HÖRMANN Intralogistics to implement an AutoStore system for more efficient storage and picking of printer components.

Scalable solution for growing requirements

The new AutoStore system comprises a grid with 6,000 bins at a height of 220 mm, which can be flexibly expanded to a total capacity of 11,000 bins. Seven R5+ robots of the latest generation and eleven loading stations ensure continuous availability and high throughput for the stored high-tech printer components. Three conveyor ports and two frames ensure a smooth material flow.

HÖRMANN Intralogistics is taking on the complete project implementation as a general contractor - from planning and installation to commissioning. In addition to the AutoStore system, the scope of services also includes professional empty container insertion for a smooth start.
