What is an automatic (paper) roll storage system?
A paper roll high-bay storage system is designed to fully automate the storage of rolls of different sizes and weights. Automatic storage and retrieval permits optimal use of available vertical space. Roll storage systems can also be used for coils, windings, foils or other items in roll format.

We’ve developed special concepts for storing and handling delicate paper rolls with a wide variety of roll widths, roll diameters and weights, including custom conveyor technology, fully automatic roll gantries, custom stacker cranes and innovative solutions for automatic truck loading and data flow transparency.
Special HiLIS WMS functions monitor the max. permissible weight of the truck and delivers the number of rolls that meets but never exceeds that weight.
