Rome, October 2025 – From 8 to 10 October, HÖRMANN Intralogistics and Van den Bos Corrugated Machinery presented their new joint turnkey solution for the corrugated board industry at the FEFCO (European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers) Technical Seminar 2025 in Rome. Under the claim "One-Stop-Shop for Corrugated Board Plants", the two companies showed how production systems and intralogistics systems can be combined to form a fully integrated overall concept – from the corrugator to the internal material flow and shipping.
Booth E21/22 in the "La Nuvola" Convention Center was met with high interest from visitors. In particular, the easier integration of conveyor and intralogistics hardware and software attracted positive attention. The all-in control of the HÖRMANN Intralogistics WMS "HiLIS" of conveyor and high-bay technology minimizes complex interfaces. In addition, the expanded capacities of the well-known player Van den Bos CM attracted attention, which will enable the company to implement large-volume turnkey projects together with HÖRMANN Intralogistics as general contractor in the future. The seminar offered ideal conditions to exchange ideas with leading representatives of the European corrugated board industry and to develop new project ideas.
Another highlight was the joint presentation by Rainer Baumgartner, Managing Director of HÖRMANN Intralogistics, and Paul van den Bos, Managing Director of Van den Bos CM. They focused on how the close integration of conveyor and intralogistics technology can increase the efficiency of modern corrugated board plants. Construction site reports of real customer projects with this concept at Dunapack Packaging and Palm Wellpappe Alzenau emphasized the idea. A consistently positive feedback from the trade audience showed that the demand for integrated, future-oriented complete solutions in the industry continues to grow.
