Construction of a new high-bay warehouse, process optimization and replacement of conveyor technology at B. Braun

B. Braun is one of the world's leading providers and manufacturers of healthcare solutions today. Every service that B. Braun provides incorporates the entirety of our knowledge and skills, the company's deep understanding of users' needs, and extensive expertise since 1839. With its constantly growing portfolio of effective medical care solutions, B. Braun makes a substantial contribution towards protecting and improving people's health. The range comprises 5,000 products, 95 percent of which are produced in-house.

At the Berlin site, the existing high-bay warehouse (HRL) is to be extended by two aisles and the current conveyor technology is to be replaced. With a tailor-made optimisation concept, Hörmann Logistik received the order for realisation in two construction phases as general contractor.

AS Arbeitsschutz GmbH is specialized in supplying technical wholesalers with personal protective equipment and work clothes since 1986. The owner-managed company attaches great importance to quality and reliability. With the manufacturer brand, NITRAS, AS Arbeitsschutz GmbH has successfully built up a renowned brand in the industry over the last 20 years.

At the headquarters in Bedburg, in their role as general contractor Hörmann Logistik is building an AutoStore small parts warehouse with two connected carousel workstations in an existing storage hall.

AutoStore® small parts warehouse for SIG Combibloc Systems in Linnich

SIG Combibloc Systems GmbH is a German subsidiary of the Swiss SIG Combibloc Group AG. The company is a leading system and solution provider for aseptic packaging. Hörmann Logistik is implementing an AutoStore® system for storage of small parts in the existing warehouse in Linnich. All workstations are designed to allow goods receipt or picking at any time. Hörmann is realizing this innovative small parts warehouse in its role as general contractor.

AutoStore® small parts warehouse for IDS Imaging Development Systems in Obersulm

Within little more than 20 years, Imaging Development Systems GmbH has developed from a 2-man company to a worldwide leading manufacturer of digital industrial cameras with about 300 employees. Every year, the company develops and manufactures around 200,000 high-quality cameras "Made in Germany". Subsidiaries in the USA, Japan and the UK, as well as representative offices in Europe and Asia make IDS an international player. Hörmann Logistik realizes a fully automated small parts warehouse in an existing warehouse at their headquarters in Obersulm, in which goods receipts or picking can take place at any workstation at any time. The implementation of the innovative small parts warehouse AutoStore® comes under general contractorship.

Hörmann Logistik GmbH acquires majority stake in Klatt Fördertechnik GmbH

Hörmann Logistik GmbH, a Hörmann Group company, is a successful general contractor (GU) for the supply of intelligent and innovative intralogistics systems with 32 years’ experience. The Munich-based company is now acquiring a majority stake in the Austrian company Klatt Fördertechnik GmbH.

The company Klatt Fördertechnik, based in Neumarkt at Lake Wallersee, has developed into a well-known manufacturer of conveyor systems in its 19 years of being in business. "With this merger, we are strengthening our core competencies and strategically expanding them," emphasizes Steffen Dieterich, Managing Director of Hörmann Logistik. His CEO colleague Oliver Vujcic adds: "For both companies, there are many synergies for ambitious growth".

Since 1989, Huss Licht & Ton GmbH & Co KG has made a name as a reliable partner for innovative event technology. Competence, quality and excellent customer service are the secret of success of the medium-sized, owner-managed company. The online shop www.huss-licht-ton.de offers 24/7 access to more than 400 international brands of event technology with attractive conditions. At the company headquarters in Langenau, Hörmann Logistik is building an AutoStore® system for the storage of small parts in a new warehouse. The workstations will be equipped for goods receipts or picking at any time.

AutoStore® finished parts warehouse for Michael Pentz GmbH & Co Spannelemente KG in Illertissen

For more than 55 years, Michael Pentz GmbH & Co Spannelemente KG in Illertissen has been manufacturing clamping bushes and dowel pins in standard and customer-specific dimensions for its international customers from the construction equipment, agricultural machinery, materials handling and mechanical engineering industries.

The Pentz company erects a new warehouse for finished parts at its headquarters. Hörmann Logistik realises the AutoStore® system as general contractor in an existing hall. All workstations at the new AutoStore® warehouse enable both goods receipt and picking.

AutoStore® small parts warehouse for the Leebmann24 online shop in Passau

Since 1926, the family-run Leebmann Group has specialised in the car brands BMW and Mini as well as four motorcycle brands. In four stationary shops, the customer-oriented company offers new and used vehicles as well as a wide range of services. The online shop www.leebmann24.de covers corresponding accessories, spare parts and care products.

Hörmann Logistik realizes an AutoStore® warehouse for car and motorcycle accessories and small spare parts at the Leebmann company headquarters in Passau. An existing hall is available for the integration of the new warehouse. From there, goods receipts or picking will take place at every workstation in the future. Leebmann chose Hörmann Logistik as general contractor and the AutoStore® system because of its compact dimensions, high efficiency and optimal orientation towards e-commerce.

New, fully automatic high-bay warehouse for Prowell in Eisfeld

In its core business, Prowell produces corrugated cardboard formats on the world's fastest high-tech plants. Its own paper production and service companies ensure process optimisation at 12 European sites. In Eisfeld, Thuringia, Prowell erects a new plant for production, storage and dispatch of corrugated boards. Adjacent to the production and finishing lines, a three-aisle, fully automatic high-bay warehouse takes shape there as well. As the general contractor, Hörmann Logistik has received the essential trades for the realisation of this high-bay racking system.

AutoStore® small parts warehouse for the Plauen subsidiary of Window Fashion AG

LYSEL®, the German base of the Swiss Window Fashion AG, offers tailor-made sun protection solutions as well as ready-made window decoration. Hörmann Logistik has set up an AutoStore® in an existing hall for the storage and picking of the product range for www.heimtextilien.com and other online customers.

AutoStore® small parts warehouse with connected conveyor system for Richter + Frenzel in Reichertshofen

For more than 120 years Richter + Frenzel has been the wholesale specialist for sanitary and building technology. 3,500 employees at 170 locations in Germany guarantee competent consultancy and planning with products from over 1,800 manufacturers. The new logistics centre at the Reichertshofen site supplies the company's branches and craft businesses. The central element of this greenfield project is a fully automated warehouse for the storage and picking of small parts. Hörmann Logistik convinced with its intralogistics concept, which includes an AutoStore® small parts warehouse with connected conveyor technology for order picking and palletising, and received the order.
