Have you met the visionaries of the HÖRMANN Intralogistics Unit leadership team? Steffen Dieterich, Franz Stöger, Gerhard Jacobi, Florian Pöckl (not in the picture) along with Christian Baur accepted the challenge of re-thinking, designing, planning, building and maintaining multi-solution automated warehouses of the future.

From Graz to Munich to Salzgitter, the team is tirelessly supervising complex projects for practically hands-free picking and storage material flows. As part of the HÖRMANN Gruppe, they are also contributing to a sustainable company-wide culture and building a welcoming, trusting environment for the HÖRMANNSCHAFT - their more than 300 employees.

Dr. Christian Baur, Managing Director HI Unit & CTO Hörmann Group

Dr Christian Baur took over as managing director and visionary for the development of the Intralogistics Unit in 2022 as part of his role as CTO of the HÖRMANN Group. After various positions in logistics and consulting, the industry expert was appointed CEO of Swisslog, a leading global provider of intralogistics automation solutions, before joining the HÖRMANN Group. With a doctorate in engineering, he has a passion for software, robotics and intelligent automation solutions.

Steffen Dieterich, Managing Director HI Munich

Steffen Dieterich is an experienced mechanical engineer with over 30 years of professional experience in intralogistics. He has been Managing Director at HÖRMANN Intralogistics since 2008, where he successfully manages high-bay warehouse projects and drives the company forward strategically. Prior to that, he worked as a sales engineer for the company for 17 years.

Steffen graduated from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a degree in mechanical engineering. His expertise lies particularly in material handling technology, and he is known for his in-depth knowledge, leadership skills and contribution to the development of solid solutions in the industry.

Franz Stöger, Managing Director HI Graz (AT)

Franz Stöger is a passionate manager in the areas of sales and logistics. As Managing Director at HÖRMANN Intralogistics Graz, he successfully leads our regional endevours in Austria. In previous positions as Vice President Sales at SSI Schäfer and Sales Director at SSI Schäfer, he has proven his sales talent. Before that, he was Regional Director at Siemens and Sales Manager. With a degree in mechanical engineering, he has solid technical knowledge and passion. Franz is an experienced professional who continuously develops his skills in management, sales and the logistics industry.

Florian Pöckl, Managing Director HÖRMANN Klatt Conveyors

Florian Pöckl has been with well-established conveyor manufacturer and service provider HÖRMANN Klatt Conveyers, formerly known as Klatt Fördertechnik since 2004, transitioning to Managing Director in 2021. The traditional but innovative company hailing from Neumarkt am Wallersee, Austria specializes in both standardized and custom conveyors for production and logistics facilities.

Gerhard Jacobi, Managing Director HÖRMANN Services

Gerhard Jacobi is an experienced leader for ancillary and maintenance services for intralogistics and manufacturing industries. After many successful years as managing director of MAT Maschinentechnik GmbH in Salzgitter, he took over the responsibility of two other Hörmann Services branches - HÖRMANN Automation and Mechanical Engineering.
